Her parents, Omar Gallardo and Alicia Pita, during their Sunday streaming program, expressed their concern about possible dark interests behind the case. Omar Gallardo pointed out that at this stage of the investigation, information is being spread that hinders the case and urged caution due to possible misinterpretations of their words.
Alicia Pita, Paloma's mother, revealed her anger towards some journalists for how they handled her daughter's disappearance and the accusations against her. Meanwhile, in a program called "Proyecto Harpazo", Gallardo warned about people trying to push them out of the spotlight and thanked those who support them, including the ministries that pray for them. He also mentioned an extramarital daughter, Brenda, lamenting the difficulties she has faced in the south.
Moreover, Omar Gallardo lamented the presence of fake profiles on social media that are dedicated to insulting and slandering, rejecting being the subject of manipulation or media exposure. In a call for faith and truth, Paloma's father emphasized the importance of not being deceived and trusting that justice will prevail amid adversities.
